Meet The Director
Tailor is an upbeat, fun-loving, passionate 26-year-old marketing graduate with a love for her home community and dance. She has been trained in dance since she was 2. She was trained in ballet by Patricia and Gari Boehm of Boehm Ballet in Wichita Falls, Texas. Due to their extensive training, she was the youngest accepted to Ballet Austin Senior Intensive program, and was later accepted to Joffrey and Pacific Northwest Ballet summer intensives. While living in Wichita Falls, she was a Rider Raiderette for one year before moving on to become a Lieutenant for the Raiderettes. She later moved to Graham, Texas where she was trained in several styles of dance by Renee Hobson, Caitlin Hobson, and Leslie Stroud Ulrich. Throughout her preteen and high school years, she participated as a Junior Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, performing in halftime performances and shows for the Cowboys. After graduating high school, she made it, as a finalist, for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. She was a college cheerleader and auditioned and was asked to work for Disney in their character and dancing entertainment segments. Tailor has participated in scholarship and beauty pageants for over 10 years, holding titles, such as; Miss Teen Fort Worth USA, Miss Wichita County's Outstanding Teen, Miss Lawton USA, Miss Northwest Oklahoma USA, and Miss Richardson. She placed in the Top 15 at Miss Texas USA and the top 10 at Miss Oklahoma USA and has competed and been a state representative in many other pageant systems and talent organizations. She is currently a 3rd grade teacher and a 3rd year dance teacher, but has choreographed solos and small group for almost 10 years. She believes that every child deserves the right to learn the art of dance and the feeling of standing in the spotlight, all while giving back to others and participating in charitable organizations. She has been trained in stage makeup by Danielle Doyle with The Perfect Face Cosmetics, the makeup sponsor for Miss USA. She is experienced in interview and modeling training, working with top interviewing and modeling coaches: Don Baker, JJ Smith, Heather Bassham Sumlin and Nicole O'Brian Lassiter. She has a love for special olympics, mission trips, and teaching young ladies the art of confidence and true beauty. She looks forward to offering a competitive dance option to allow children to regularly enhance and build their stage skills.
Tailor loves glitter, tutus, and everything girly, BUT Jesus and faith trump everything. She hopes that Spotlight is a beacon of light not only in our community, but that grows a special light in each of our dancers and guests that attend special events.
"She is clothed with strength and dignity and laughs without fear of the future." (Proverbs 31: 25

Carol has been dancing, teaching and creating choreography for over ½ a century.
She can be found supporting dance in the community behind the scenes, backstage, in the classroom and yes occasionally you can spot her on stage as well. She enjoys all forms and styles of dance, but ballet is her favorite by leaps and bounds (heheheheee).
While traveling worldwide for her corporate (computer) career she has participated in dance classes, rehearsals and shows with many schools and companies and discovered ballet is a universal language and provides friendship, joy and a home at the barre no matter what country you’re in or what language is spoken. Now that she lives and works in Wichita Falls full time she has found a home with the staff and students at Spotlight.
“You turned my wailing into dancing; … and clothed me with joy." Psalm 30:11
